The Montclair Community Band puts on free concerts throughout the year, including three free summer concerts.

Verona residents Ben Blinder and his wife, Karen Blasi-Blinder, play with the Montclair Community Band in the summer only (Karen on flute and Ben on trumpet), and they want you to know that the band’s last concert of the season is tomorrow, Tuesday July 27, at 7:30 p.m. The concert takes place on the front lawn of Montclair High School on Chestnut Street, and you can bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit and listen.

Ben says that this concert will include some Sousa marches, tributes to Count Basie, Henry Mancini and Ray Charles, plus a variety of other music to appeal to all ages.  And it’s all free!
