Residents of the Hillwood housing complex for senior citizens are sponsoring a bus trip to the Mount Airy Casino Resort on Wednesday, April 14. The bus will leave Hillwood at 9:30 a.m. and make a second pickup stop at the Verona Community Center at 9:40 a.m. The cost of the trip is $30, which includes a $25 slot bonus and a $10 food credit with proper ID. Snacks and drinks on the bus are also included. If you want to go, bring a check made payable to cash to the next Verona Seniors meeting, which is Wednesday, April 7 in the Community Center ballroom.
