Have you run through all the Thin Mints? Snarfed down all your Samosas?

Do not despair. Girl Scout Troop 144, made up of fifth graders at H.B. Whitehorne Middle School, will have more cookies for sale on Saturday, March 27, from noon to 3 p.m. in front of Kings Super Market in the Pilgrim Plaza Shopping Center.  Cookies are still just $4 per box and proceeds are used to fund the troops activities and service projects.

This year, Troop 144 cleaned a home for unwed mothers in Ramsey and sponsored an ornament-making activity for younger scouts during the holidays.  The troop then purchased Christmas trees and donated holiday ornaments to needy Verona families.

That’s the kind of community spirit we need all year long.[mappress]
