Five Verona Eagles and one Montclair Cobra, all from Verona, competed in the Youth Sports TV-sponsored Jr. High North All Stars v. Jr. High South All Stars New Jersey All State Football game on Sunday, November 27. Anthony Siciliano (#2; Quarterback), Matt McKeown (#58; Linebacker), MJ Mughetto (#35; Fullback), Cameron Queiro (#3; Tight End), Robbie Walsh (#67; Defensive End), and Bill Guiliano (#78; Tackle) helped North to an 18-14 victory over South at Bridgewater High School. North Assistant Coach Vin Siciliano, head coach at Football University, guided the young players through two intense 12-hour training sessions before the big game. Forty-two athletes were selected in total to participate, bringing together football players from throughout New Jersey.
